Crystal Spring - Salt of the Earth Review:

A while ago I contacted a company called Crystal Spring who specialise in making natural deodrants. The company strive to live by their mantra which is to reduce, reuse and recycle. They kindly posted me one of their spray deodrants to review.

You can go and check out their products here: http://www.crystalspring.co.uk/

  • Natural Deodorant Spray 100ml - RRP £3.84:

The product I was sent to review was their natural and unscented spray deodorant which retails for £3.84 and can be purchased here: http://www.crystalspring.co.uk/products/natural-deodorants-crystal-deodorants/natural-deodorant-spray-100ml. This product is multi award winning so I eager to try it out for myself. I used the product everyday for a week to make sure I could really test how effective it is. The product does exactly what it sets out to meaning I was left feeling totally impressed with this product. The product is a long lasting formula which also helps to moisturise and leaves no white marks behind.

The product is suitable for everyone as it is unisex, not tested on animals and is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

How does the product work?

This is what I found most interesting as the product leaves a thin layer of natural minerals on your skin which prevents the growth of bacteria which causes body odour.

Overall this product is great and perfect for everyday use and keeping bacteria at bay at a very reasonable price. The only other comment I would like to make is I would love to see more products in their range but maybe with added scents.

Thats all for now, Amber xox

Pink and Green Skincare Review

Today I will be reviewing products from a company called Pink and Green skincare. The brand prides itself on its high quality natural skincare products. The company's name has a interesting meaning as pink was chosen to represent women and green to represent the environmentally friendly side of the brand. All the products use only natural ingredients and are hand made in small batches.

Check out their website here: http://www.pinkandgreenskincare.co.uk/

Organic Facial Oil for sensitive skin:

One of the products I was sent to review was the organic facial oil for sensitive skin. I do use lots of skincare products but have never used a facial oil. This is due to me suffering from breakouts, I have always been cautious that oil based products may make them worse. I started to use this product as part of my morning routine.

The product comes in a blue glass bottle with a dropper for application, you need around three drops per use. This product is so refreshing and smells amazing, it is super herbal and contains ingredients like lavender, chamomile and jojoba extracts. The oil has really helped to nourish and hydrate any dry spots I had on my face due to spots. The oil helps to trap moisture and strengthen skin. You are advised to use the product on a morning and evening as part of your everyday cleansing routine.  This would make a great product to use before bed to help you relax into a good nights sleep due to the herbal smell and relaxing nature. The product can be particularly helpful for eczema and psoriasis.

The product is available in two sizes 10ml which is £12.50 and 100ml is £24.50.

Organic Rose Floral Water:

The other product I received was the organic floral rose water. This product also comes in a lovely blue glass bottle but has a pump spray for application. The product can be used as a toner or a facial spritzer, I have been using it as a make up fixer to help set my make up for the day. This rose water is very soothing for the skin and again it has a refreshing feeling. This product has a lovely subtle floral scent. Rose water can help to improve the elasticity of skin.

This product is particularly good for acne prone skin. It has a number of other uses and can be used on your hair or body to help nourish and hydrate.

This product comes in a 30ml bottle and costs £8.50.

I love the natural ingredients used in these products which give your skin a refreshed feel after use. The subtle herby and earthy scents draw you in and make you feel relaxed. I think the products are a lovely luxury treat at a reasonable price considering the natural ingredients.

What do you think of products which contain natural ingredients?

Sweet Freedom Orange Spice Choc Shot Review:

Hey Everyone just Amber back with another review. A while ago I got in touch with a company called Sweet Freedom and asked to review their products they kindly sent me their orange spice choc shot to review. I love chocolate orange so couldn't wait to try this. Sweet Freedom specialise in liquid chocolate sweet treats which can be used in a number of ways shown below:

Sweet Freedom orange spice choc shot review - RRP £3.50:

Due to christmas being around the corner I thought the orange spice flavour would be great to use over the christmas season as I love chocolate orange. They are very easy to use as you simply just squeeze the tube into your hot milk and stir adding more or less depending on how chocolatey you like your hot chocolate. You can also use it in the other ways shown above on toast ect. This tastes amazing and really gets you into the christmas spirit. The product is definately worth the price as it will last ages and you dont need much per drink. The thing I love the most about Sweet Freedom products is that they are 100% natural and suitable for most people such as diabetics, vegans, vegetrians. I just love the idea of these products and would love to try more of the range, Its great to be able to have a healthy sweet treat.

How would you use your Choc Shot?

Jelly Belly Review:

Hey everyone Amber back with another review. I recently contacted Jelly Belly to ask if I could review some of their products as I love anything sweet. A lovely lady named Victoria kindly responded and asked me which products I would like to try and then posted me four different products to review.

Did you know: it can take upto 21 days to create one jelly bean :)

Get your Jelly Belly beans here: http://www.jellybelly-uk.com/

Happy Halloween 20 flavour gift box 250g RRP £9.60:

The first product I recieved was a lovely gift box with halloween themed haunted house sleeve which I thought was a really nice seasonal touch.

The box contains 20 flavours:
  • Very Cherry
  • Green Apple
  • Coconut
  • Lemon
  • Cantaloupe
  • Bubblegum
  • Plum
  • Strawberry Cheesecake
  • Blueberry
  • Buttered Popcorn
  • Pina Colda
  • Juicy Pear
  • Peach
  • Pink Grapefruit
  • Island Punch
  • Watermelon
  • Tangerine
  • Liquorice
  • Toasted Marshmallow
  • Cotton Candy
I really like the wide variety of flavours in this gift box as there is a great range from sweet to fruity. There is a flavour for everyone to like. I think this would make a great addition to any halloween party as a table centerpiece. The thing I love about Jelly Belly beans is that they taste exactly as they should, like the real flavour. I loved nearly everyone of these flavours which means this gift box gets my seal of approval.

Tropical Mix 100g bag RRP £2.35:

Next I got a pouch of the tropical mix jelly beans and these are definately my favourite. This is because most of the flavours are fruity and refreshing so there not to sickly.

This bag contains 16 flavours:
  • Tangerine
  • Green Apple
  • Berry Blue
  • Cantaloupe
  • Kiwi
  • Coconut
  • Lemon
  • Strawberry Daiquiri
  • Mango
  • Top Banana
  • Island Punch
  • Crushed Pineapple
  • Peach
  • Pina Colda
  • Lemon/Lime
  • Pink Grapefruit
This is also a great variety but of more exotic flavours. I love every flavour in this pack and think they are great value for money. These little pouches would make great stocking fillers for christmas. The flavours in this selection are lovely and refreshing.

Cocktail Classics gift box 125g:

I love the idea of these all the fun of cocktails without the hangover in the morning. These would make a great gift to add to any adults stocking which will bring them back to their childhood. I love how much these taste like actual cocktails the taste profile is amazing.

There are five cocktail classic flavours:
  • Pina Colda
  • Mojito
  • Pomegranate Cosmo
  • Peach Bellini
  • Strawberry Daiquiri

Jelly Bean Recipes:

One of the unique things I love about Jelly Belly jelly beans is the ability to take a well know flavour profile and turn it into something completley different. For instance try eating two green apple and a cinnamon jelly bean and it tastes like a candy apple. This is just one of many flavour combintations which can be made using Jelly Belly beans.

I want to say a huge thanks to Victoria for letting me try Jelly Belly beans :)

Do you like Jelly Belly Beans? What is your favourite flavour?

Thats all for now , Amber xox

The Tail Wagger Box Review:

I have uploaded an unboxing video on YouTube go check it out:

Hey everyone I'm back with another review. I contacted a company called Tail Wagger who do monthly subscription boxes for dogs and asked them to review one of their boxes. They posted me their October box which included 7 items. Tail Wagger offer three different subscription boxes based on how many items you want per box.
  • Box Price's - opitional choose from 3 options:

  1. 2-3 items is £13.99 per month free UK shipping
  2. 4-6 items is £21.99 per month free UK shipping - box I was sent
  3. 7-10 items is £34.99 per month free UK shipping
I was fell in love with the box before even opening the item due to the lovely handcrafted feel to the stamped box front which had been stamped with lovely halloween pumpkins and cobwebs. When opening the box it is presented in a lovely manner wrapped in yellow tissue paper and sealed with a Tail Wagger sticker. One other great thing about this box is that 10% of proceeds are donated to Dogs Trust so money is given back to other dogs in need. Boxes are always cheaper than what it would cost to buy the items individually. My two Jack Russel's Buster and Oscar couldnt wait to get their paws into the box.

Purchase your box here: http://www.thetailwagger.co.uk/

What's in the box?:

Each box contains a unique combination of items including toys, accesories and snacks. See below to find out what was in my box:

  • Woof and Brew healthy herbal dog teas RRP £3.99:
First item in the box was some Woof and Brew doggie tea bags. I was super excited to find these in the box as it is such a great concept and very unique. Woof and Brew specialise in dog herbal teas and do lots of different flavours. The flavour in the box is called feel good which helps with immune and digestive systems giving your dog a extra boost. This pack is a seven day pack which contains 7 tea bags. I havent had chance to try these yet but cant wait to give them ago. You can either use the tea bags by adding them to your dogs water for extra flavour or you can make the tea then let it cool and add it to your dogs food.

  • House of French halloween peanut butter cookies:
I love how cute these are, little halloween themed cookies. The cookies are in the shape of pumpkins, ghosts and bats.

  • Sea Treats - Natural salmon bites 200g tub - RRP £4.99:
This is a a little tub of salmon biscuit treats which are a good source of omega 3 and protein.

  • The Dog Treat Company - Joie De Vivre 40g dog treats - RRP £2.50:
I love the vintage themed packaging on these dog treats but one thing that sticks out the most is that they use human grade ingredients in their treats. The treats have an impressive ingredient list and my dogs loved them :).

  • Meat Snax - 7 beef treats RRP £2.93:
These make for a great treat they are almost like a beef jerky stick you get 7 in a pack so quite good value for money. The snax can be given whole or be snapped up and used as training treats. They use 100% prime ingredients which my dogs loved.

Rogz Grinz ball - orange RRP £5.00:

This ball is such a great and fun idea and has a combination of uses which is even better. The ball is bright orange with teeth printed onto it to make it look like your dog is smiling when they have it in their mouth. The ball also has a hole in the back for treats. It can be used for fetch and bounces really well. The ball can also be used for water play as it floats.

  • Tartan Bowtie:

Last item in the box which I thought was a lovely touch was a little ribbon tartan bowtie which can be seen below on the boys:

Overall I love this box. It is such a great idea and my dogs loved it. I like the variation of items included and it is great value for money. The best thing though is the support Tail Wagger offer the Dogs Trust which makes me love the box even more. I want to say a huge thankyou to Camila for sending me this box to review

Would you purchase one of these boxes for your dog?

Scheckter's organic energy drinks review:

Image from: http://schecktersorganic.com/
A while ago I emailed Scheckter's to review their energy drinks with being on the go all the time I find that I often feel drained so sometimes pick up an energy drink to give me a boost. They kindly agreed to me reviewing their products and posted me a little box of goodies including one of their original energy drinks, a lite energy drink, a 50p coupon and a lovely logo printed canvas bag which has come in very handy for university. The great thing about this energy drink is the fact that it is the first ever organic energy drink. The drinks contain 100% natural ingredients and 80mg of caffeine which help give you a substained energy boost unlike other energy drinks which can give a crash and burn effect. These drinks have won loads of awards so I couldnt wait to give them a go.

When to drink Scheckter's:
  • Morning - Kick start your morning with a natural boost
  • Afternoon - Refreshing to help you out of an afternoon slump
  • Evening - Can be used as a tasty mixer for an evening drink
  • Workout - Great to create a boost of energy before or after a workout
Scheckter's organic energy original RRP £1.35:

I was suprised by how tasty this drink was considering the drink is pomegrante and lemon flavour which I first thought was an odd combination but it is so refreshing. I love how fruity the flavour is and the flavour combination works really well together. The fact the drink uses natural energy sources such as coffee bean extract really helps give you an energy boost which keeps going all day. Click on the image if you would like to try the drink.

Scheckter's organic energy lite RRP £1.35:

I also tried the lite version of the drink which I didn't like as much but this is only because it isnt as sweet due to the switching of sugars. The lite version contains agave nectar which helps the drink to contain 30% less calories than the original drink. The lite version still has the same benefits just a not as sweet flavour but it is still a delicious healthier alternative with plenty of flavour. Try yours now click on the image link.

If your like me and often need a energy boost I recommend trying this delicious energy filled drink for more information check out their website: http://schecktersorganic.com/. I want to say a big thanks to Sharon for letting me try this tasty drink.

Thats all for now, Amber xox
